In these tumultuous and increasingly challenging times of COVID-19, things are changing almost by the hour. And it is absolutely alright to feel confused or unsure. At Gordon’s we are here to help and answer any questions you may have for us now, and to provide all the support we can for later.
How We are Keeping Our Clients Safe
At Gordon’s, several additional safety and health measures have been put in place since the outbreak, and our teams have been practicing these everyday to safeguard the wellbeing of everyone we work with, including clients, coworkers, partners and communities. We have so far been able to help our clients downsize and move in a practically contactless manner. Gordon’s has made available digital signatures for all legal documents, virtual meetings, telephonic discussions, no need of open houses, safe packing and moving of contents with the respective client at a precautionary distance and comfortable transition to a completely sanitized new home.
We continue to reassess our operational policies and follow advisory from the Federal as well as Provincial Government.
Stay Home. Stay Safe.
Now, more than ever, we are urging you to think about what steps you can take to keep yourself and your loved ones safe, healthy and stress-free. Here are a few to help you get started.
1. Wash your hands with soap frequently and for at least 20 seconds
3. Step out only when you absolutely need to, like buying groceries or medical supplies or instead use delivery services like this one
4. Be prepared to call for medical help if you feel unwell
Secure Your Tomorrow, Today
Think about what you can do to ensure that you and your family members continue feeling safe, healthy and happy, once the threats of COVID-19 are behind us. From our experience of working with seniors for more than 60 years, we know and we are sure you’d agree, that taking care of your health supersedes all other priorities. You can only live your life fully when you are free from the avoidable risks and stresses to your mind and body. And you deserve the freedom to do what you want with all your “free time” you’ve earned after working most of your life.
If you haven’t already, we recommend that you consider moving to a safer and manageable environment, for instance a retirement community, where not just great company but also every kind of professional help is at hand. You don’t need to be told how this situation fairs far better than the one where you live alone in a large house exposed to all kinds of uncertainties. When you make this move, you not only ensure a comfortable life for yourself but also for your loved ones who can sleep better at night knowing that you are safe and well taken care of.
Gordon’s can help you with all aspects of moving: choosing the right residence, downsizing, managing contents and selling your house for the best price.
