Project Management

Project Management

📋 At the start of every project our team of experts will learn the details of your lifestyle and your move expectations, and that will help us to create a custom transition plan that minimizes stress and maximizes the efficiency of your move.

When you are downsizing, every decision affects every other thing. Without an integrated approach, you are your own general contractor.

Then, each supplier, whether it be a real estate agent, mover or estate salesperson, provides conflicting advice based on their limited understanding of your needs. Integration means being better informed and receiving better- synchronized advice.

Our approach to project management has six steps:

  1. Analyze: Once we understand your requirements, we explain our services, how it would work, what it would cost, and where the important cost savings are. We completely answer every question you have and make sure you’re comfortable with our plan.

  2. Agreement: If we are all in agreement with the plan, we now make a formal commitment to each other. This outlines the services that we will provide and the exact costs involved. There are no upfront costs.

  3. Turnover: When you are ready, we will look after your complete move management. We can work with a reporting and approval process so you know exactly what we are doing and to ensure you’re comfortable every step of the way. You can opt to do some things on your own if you prefer, but otherwise we can manage everything.

  4. Third Party Providers: We use trusted and vetted third parties that specialize in certain areas of moving home, this could include cleaners, painters or home inspectors. You will remain in control of every decision.

  5. Price: By conducting thorough research of the marketplace, we can have an informed decision about the listing price of your home. We will give you expert advice, but you will always have the final decision.

  6. Listing: Once a price is decided, we will list your property on the Multiple Listing Service through our company. All offers will be presented to you for your consideration.

  7. Sold: Once you have accepted an offer and the property is sold and closed, you will receive the proceeds from your lawyer’s office with our commission and his/her fees deducted.

  8. Feedback: Finally, you will be asked to complete a survey telling us how we did and asking for any comments you may wish to add. Many clients provide testimonials at this stage. All comments are welcome and we review all feedback carefully.
