Licensed Real Estate Salesperson: Listing Manager (Kingston, Ontario Region)
Gordon’s Downsizing & Estate Services provides peace of mind through our bundled real estate, downsizing, and estate solutions. Presently, we are excited to offer an opportunity to join our growing professional team as a Listing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the management and execution of all aspects of our real estate sale process for clients assigned to you by the Company (with expert mentorship and guidance provided by our team). As a team, we deliver an exceptional experience for our clients who are often overwhelmed by the idea of downsizing or settling an estate.
You are a licensed real estate agent who might:
Recently have moved to the Kingston area
Have a real estate license but hasn’t necessarily made a living trading in real estate
Love the idea of helping downsizers or estate executors at a difficult time in their lives
Be looking for steady income in real estate with more controllable working hours
Have relevant experience caring for, managing a transition, or educating others (i.e. raised a family, supported a downsizer/executor, teacher, caring for vulnerable people)
You are looking for:
A purposeful career delivering positive outcomes at a difficult time in people’s lives
Flexible schedule with ability to set regular working hours
Slower pace than a typical real estate salesperson (though may have some intense bursts) with an estimated 35hrs of effort per file to take it from start to finish.
Opportunity to problem solve and overcome challenges as part of a team
Autonomy and ownership of the client real estate relationship with expert mentorship
All expenses paid including dues, fees, memberships, mileage, supplies, cell phone, etc.
Guaranteed, steady, income of $35K-$60K based on the volume of listings you decide to manage
“Qualified” buyer agency leads provided by Gordon’s could double to quadruple your income
Additional compensation via our team bonus pool
~$60K to $120K total income range in years 1-3 depending on the pace of life you want - all without needing to market yourself. You just need to deliver our exceptional process
As a Real Estate Listing manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of managing the real estate relationship with our client including:
Initial meeting to get to know the client, understand their goals and timelines
Property walkthrough, taking memory photos, and note taking to document unique attributes and infrastructure items
Analysis and review of industry data to provide trusted advice on pricing
Preparing a comprehensive, industry-leading buyer information package
Executing our predictable sales process
Managing the offer presentation process
Supporting the client through to closing
Keeping the team and stakeholders informed of progress updates via emails, calls, weekly team check ins, and notes in our client management software systems.
As a Real Estate Sales Representative, in addition to your Listing Manager duties, you will have the opportunity to basically double your income in commissions and fees from leads provided to you by the Company and/or through your Listing Manager duties as well as your network. Income earned through Buyer and Seller agency relationships must follow our trusted process.
Unique things you don’t have to worry about as a Real Estate Listing Manager at Gordon’s:
Having to generate your own customer sales (customers are pre-signed and provided)
Not having enough access to training including one on one training with a Broker
Having to figure out an exceptional client delivery model and sale process
Expenses like real estate dues, fees, memberships, mileage, cell phone stipend.
Company issued laptop and printer
Attending open houses
Lots of evening and weekend work
Wasted / unpaid effort due to expired/cancelled listings with no sale
Spending personal marketing dollars to market yourself
Differentiation by superficial relationships (our unique and focused service sells itself)
Spending time on the logistics of preparing the property for sale (our Transition team handles this for our clients and you)
Skills and Attributes
You believe in values like: delivering positive outcomes, listening first, being kind, client health, and providing real expertise.
You enjoy the impact and predictability executing a trusted process can deliver to both clients, yourself, and the team
You are comfortable learning and using technology platforms
You are a confident communicator who, with time to research, analyze, and prepare, can provide advice and solutions to clients and customers on all aspects of a real estate sale
You believe that being organized is key to managing a well-considered and open offer presentation process, including multiple offers scenarios and managing closing tasks.
You are eager to work as part of a larger team that delivers an exceptional and unique customer experience for downsizing and estate clients in need of bundled services.
You like the idea of contributing to continuous improvement of our processes
