Licensed Real Estate Salesperson: Listing Manager (Ottawa - Remote Position)

Gordon’s Downsizing & Estate Services provides peace of mind through our one-stop-shop real estate solutions for downsizers, estate trustees, and powers of attorneys. Presently, we are looking for a licensed realtor interested in joining our growing professional team of Listing Managers. In this role, you will be responsible for the management and execution of all aspects of our real estate sale process for clients assigned to you by the Company (with expert mentorship and guidance provided by our team). As a team, we deliver an exceptional experience for our clients who are often overwhelmed by the idea of downsizing or settling an estate.

You are:

  • A newly licensed real estate agent, licensed appraiser, or someone who has had their license for a while but may not have made a living trading in real estate yet

  • Someone who is looking to play with dolphins vs swim with sharks

  • More interested in a steady income in real estate with more controllable working hours and all expenses paid vs traditional brokerage environments

  • Potentially someone who has relevant past experience such as: project management, research, social / case worker, administrative coordinator, etc.

  • Someone that believes in values like: listening first, being compassionate, being health conscious, providing real expertise, and delivering positive outcomes

You are looking for:

  • A team that, as a team, provides unparalleled value to downsizers or estate executors at a difficult time in their lives

  • A slower pace than a typical real estate salesperson (though may have some intense bursts) with an estimated 35hrs of effort per file to take it from start to finish.

  • Autonomy and ownership of the client real estate relationship with expert mentorship while having access to the team for problem solving and overcoming challenges

  • All expenses paid including dues, insurance, fees, memberships, mileage, supplies, cell phone, etc.

  • Income of ~$40K-$60K+ in your first year (before taxes) based on the volume of listings you will be asked to manage and ~$60K to $150K total steady income range in years 2-3 depending on the pace of life you want - all without needing to market yourself.  You just need to deliver our exceptional process

  • Additional compensation via our team bonus pool
