Gordon’s Downsizing & Estate Services provides peace of mind through our one-stop-shop real estate solutions for downsizers, estate trustees, and powers of attorneys. Presently, we are looking for people interested in joining our growing professional team in the role of Transition Team Member. Working under the direction of a Team Lead, you will support the execution of all aspects of our transition efforts for client jobs you are scheduled on (with expert mentorship and guidance provided by our team). As a team, we deliver an exceptional experience for our clients who are often overwhelmed by the idea of downsizing or settling an estate.

Able to lift and move <30lbs boxes and/or items repeatedly throughout a day under varying environmental conditions
Someone that loves the idea of helping downsizers or estate executors at a difficult time
A team player that enjoys working hard while building relationships
Passionate about serving and leaving an impression of compassion and efficiency
Semi-retired, retired, and/or looking for flexible part time work
Potentially someone who has relevant past experience such as: nurse, teacher, personal support worker, social worker, personal trainer, professional organizer, etc.

$25 /hr to start with 30%-50% growth within 3-6 months if you qualify as a team lead
Additional quarterly compensation via our team bonus pool
Job Description
Overview
As a Transition Team Member, you will follow the direction of the Team Lead while on job sites to execute transition activities for our clients and team including:
Client personal property packing, unpacking, sorting, and auction set-up
Describing and photography of a client’s personal property items for auction
Support security and oversight activities at auction pick-up security, dumpster loading, etc. in an efficient, organized, and timely manner
Working with the team to solve problems as they arise on-site
Keeping the Team Lead informed of progress and challenges faced while on the job

Required Qualifications and Experience
Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
Available to work 3 days a week (Mon-Fri) with seasonal ups and downs
Satisfactory background check
Comfortable traveling outside the core area ~10% of the time
COVID Vaccination (and willingness to get ongoing boosters as may be required)
Preferences
Emergency CPR qualified
Knowledge of software platforms such as Gmail and When I Work
