One Team. Six Regions. Province-Wide Coverage.
Most downsizing and estate firms operate within a single city. Gordons was built differently. From our Kingston headquarters and dedicated regional teams, we coordinate full-service real estate, contents management, and move support across the corridors where 90% of Ontario’s population lives. Whether the home is a downtown Toronto condo, a Prince Edward County farmhouse, or a Richmond Hill bungalow, our process, pricing, and standards stay the same. Choose your region below to see how we work in your area.

Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
The GTA is Gordons largest and fastest-growing service region. Sandy Angus leads our GTA transition team out of Toronto, with specialists working across Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Brampton, and Vaughan. We’re members of the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB) and licensed to list anywhere in the GTA.
GTA clients are typically managing high-value detached homes and condos, often coordinating from out of province or balancing care for an aging parent. We handle every contractor, every showing, and every contents pickup so you don’t have to be on-site.

Quinte / Prince Edward County
Gordons has deep roots in Quinte and Prince Edward County, with team members based in Belleville, Picton, and Trenton. We’re members of the Quinte and District Association of REALTORS® and have sold properties throughout Belleville, Brighton, Bloomfield, Wellington, and the surrounding rural communities.
This region’s mix of family farms, waterfront properties, and historic homes calls for specialized appraisal and marketing, exactly the kind of work Gordons has done here for decades.

Kingston
Kingston is home. Our headquarters at 690 Innovation Drive has been the base of every Gordons project for nearly 70 years, and our team is active in the Seniors Association Kingston Region, the Rotary Club of Kingston, and the Kingston Chamber of Commerce.
From limestone heritage homes in Sydenham Ward to retirement communities along Princess Street and properties in Bath, Amherstview, and Westbrook, Gordons knows this market intimately and has the longest-standing reputation in it.

Oshawa & Durham
Durham Region is spread out, and estates here look very different from one community to the next. You might be settling a long-held family home in an established Oshawa neighbourhood, a newer house in Whitby, Ajax, or Pickering, or a rural or lakeside property out in Clarington, Bowmanville, or Port Perry. Whatever the property, the duties land on you as executor: a home to sell, a lifetime of contents to sort and value, beneficiaries to keep informed, and professionals to coordinate, usually while you are grieving.
Gordons Real Estate Brokerage has been handling estate settlement in Oshawa and across Durham Region since 1958. As a fully licensed independent real estate brokerage, we manage every physical part of the estate, from certified probate appraisals through to the final broom-sweep, through one point of contact.

Ottawa
Gordons has been licensed in Ottawa for decades and is a member of the Ottawa Real Estate Board (OREB). Our Ottawa team serves Kanata, Nepean, Orleans, the Glebe, and surrounding communities, with strong referral relationships from local estate lawyers and trust officers.
Ottawa’s federal-employee demographic means we work with a high volume of out-of-province executors settling parents’ estates remotely. Our concierge approach is built for exactly that situation.

Richmond Hill
Richmond Hill, along with its neighbours in Markham, Aurora, and Newmarket, represents one of the GTA’s most active senior downsizing markets. Detached homes here often hold decades of equity that families are now putting toward retirement, support for adult children, or moves into single-level living.
Gordons coordinates with several Richmond Hill retirement communities and works with multilingual families across the region to ensure every conversation, contract, and contractor is handled with care.

Brampton
Brampton is one of the fastest-growing cities in Canada, but beneath that growth lies a community with deep roots. Many of the homes in Bramalea, Heart Lake, Springdale, and the Vales of Castlemore have been family residences for decades. When the time comes to settle an estate in Brampton, executors often face a combination of significant property value, substantial household contents, and the added weight of manageing the process while supporting grieving family members, sometimes across multiple households or cultural traditions.

Mississauga
Mississauga has grown dramatically over the past five decades, and many of its long-established neighbourhoods, including Port Credit and Lorne Park, Erin Mills and Meadowvale, are now home to estates belonging to the generation that built the city. If you’ve been named executor for a parent, spouse, or loved one in Mississauga, you may be manageing a property that’s been in the family for 30 or 40 years. That means both meaningful equity and a lifetime of belongings to handle thoughtfully and responsibly.

Hamilton & Niagara
Settling an estate in Hamilton or the Niagara region is rarely simple. Whether you’re managing a character home in Westdale or Ancaster, a bungalow in Stoney Creek, or a property in St. Catharines, Welland, or Niagara-on-the-Lake, the work falls to you as executor. There’s a home to sell, beneficiaries to keep informed, and a lifetime of belongings to sort and value, often while you’re grieving. Estate settlement in Hamilton means carrying a legal and practical load at the hardest possible time, and you don’t have to carry it alone.

Vaughan & Woodbridge
Losing a parent or family member is hard enough. Being named the executor on top of that grief can feel like a second full-time job, especially when the family home sits in a neighbourhood like Kleinburg, East Woodbridge, or Maple and is full of decades of belongings. If you’re searching for estate settlement in Vaughan, you’re likely carrying a lot right now, and you don’t have to carry it alone.

Oakville & Burlington
If you are settling a loved one’s estate in Oakville or Burlington, you have probably already noticed that Halton is not an easy market to manage from the outside. A lakefront home in Old Oakville, a family house in Glen Abbey or River Oaks, or a long-held property in Burlington’s Roseland or Aldershot each carries real value, and each comes with a houseful of contents to sort, value, and clear before anything can be sold. For an estate executor in Oakville or Burlington, that is a lot to carry, usually while grieving and often from out of town.
Gordons Real Estate Brokerage has been handling estate settlement in Oakville, Burlington, and across Halton since 1958. As a fully licensed independent real estate brokerage, we manage every physical part of the estate, from certified probate appraisals through to the final broom-sweep, through one point of contact.

Hear It From Our Happy Clients

Margaret
“I was dreading the move and I still can’t believe how well it went. Everybody involved was so kind, helpful and patient that I never felt worried. When it came to selling my house, Sherry was so patient, explaining everything and not pushing me to make a decision.”

Angela, Executor
“I hired Gordons when I was recently called upon to act as an estate trustee. They cleaned out an entire lifetime of household goods and personal effects from a home, arranged for minor renovations to prepare the house for listing, and sold the house for fair market value. ”

Joyce & Morton
“From the very beginning we were promptly advised, every step of the way. Our house sold quickly, we can only attribute that to Gordons for their very descriptive advertising. Thank you all for a job well done in a friendly and courteous manner.”
